front wheel bearings

where can I get good quality front wheel bearings?..had new ones pressed in when I had my wheels powdercoated, probably less than 10,000 miles ago..got 'em from bike bandit if I remember correctly..they are most definitely kaput..won't use them again..check out this Honda board thread please..

[Triple Trouble]

Chances are that they are a standard size. Any industrial bearing supplier should be able to match them up , likely for less than half the dealer price and best quality. Years ago when working on Nortons it was advised to use skf bearings made in England, Canada, USA and Germany only. Doubt you have those choices anymore but I bet Chinese are not the best?

It might be worth a shot to go to your local bearing distibutor , they should know various grades of quality by experience ...bring your parts so they have something to cross reference.

If you use a high pressure water cleaner it can push water and dirt past the seal back into the bearing.
