There are plenty more front tire selections than rear. My last stats are that Avon (Venom), Bridgestone, Dunlop and Metzeler have a 150/80R17 front tire. Probably more options if you look. I'm guessing you want the sticky Avons.
Also in addition to lowering your front, if you're looking for more sport like performance, you'd best get longer, better performing rear shocks to raise your rear end and keep the suspension tracked to the road as well as give more cornering clearance. I put in 13inch Progressive 440's. They really improve cornering performance but now I wish I went a full inch longer with 13.5 instead.
