Front tire wear

I think i over exagerated shake mate, more highspeed vib through the bars , has gotten worse over time , there is also a good amount of vibe through the bike when reving the engine stationary , my guess is that throttle bodies are way out of sync , causing vibration , is that feasable ?

My bike does similar. Whenever I put it in Neutral and let off the clutch the bike shakes a lot more. I also get a great deal of vibration in the 2000-2300 rpm range while in 3rd-4th. Lemme know what you find out.

No mines not doing that , when im stationary and rev the engine lately i also get like a high frequency vibe through the bars , this also happens when cruising if the revs are up over 2800 , i need to sync throttle bodies but the cable i paid for 5 weeks ago still hasnt arrived !!!!

You say its been getting gradually worse .im not surprised with 14,000 km,s on the front tyre .from my experience it will be the tyre .

FIIK how you're getting 14,000 outa the things. I've just given up after ten of them in 85,000 kays, gonna try a Cobra.

It doesnt take long for a Metz to cup. Everyone that I've had cupped and always check my air pressure. When I started hanging around other fellows with Triumphs the first thing I noticed was the majority of the tires on their bikes was cupped. All was Metz tires.

So very true.
The Metzeler fronts sucked and cupped on my V2K as well.

I think it's just a combination of factors, the mains one being; under inflation, aggressive cornering, aggressive braking, and very soft compounds on most front tires.

Ruzz majority of my riding has been up right due to using the bike for commuting to work on the freeway

just a note there on the subject of front tyres, the DS will probably feel a lot better once you get rid of the crappy F***ed out front Metz

Will have a new Avon fitted next Sat , i think i'll take the wheel off and drop it in , any hints or tips on removing the front wheel on an ABS R3R ?

Nothing really any different than a standard non abs bike. The sensor usually stays put on the fork but if it just happens to fall off it's not going far. It can just be placed right back on. Just use the shop manual instructions for a Classic R3 and you will do just fine.
