Ok,
I need help.
Anybody adapted or modified their front brake line?
I finally went with another set of handlebars I like,
and can't reroute lines to make it work this time.
Here's the delima.
the brake line isn't long enough to go from the connecting block
to the master cylinder on the handlebars.
It looks like the line into the connecting block is just pressed in there.
I was thinking of just taking it apart and threading the hole and putting a longer line in there.
Any suggestions, ideas, or advice here?
Any ideas on how to get the top line out of there without messing the whole thing up?
knowledge is welcome,
sarcasm is acceptable and appreciated,
insight, ideas, or links is good too.
Thanks guys,

..skip, call these guys up and tell them how much longer over stock you want..you don't even have to measure..they will give you two new ones that go from the master cylinder down to the calipers, eliminating the junction block..comes with a longer banjo bolt when hooking the lines up to the master cylinder...good company to deal with..

Spiegler Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines

I just ordered a set from Spiegler a couple weeks ago too, couldn't be easier, call, tell them your bike year and model, tell them how much longer over stock you need, done.

+1

thanks guys.
Found a guy in bartlesville who makes brake lines.
Didn't have any of the correct parts,
3/16 was as small as he had,
but said he could order the parts and make it.
Said to give him a week.
If that don't work out, i'll definetly be trying Spiegler.
Thanks again,
