Foot Rails Swap

Question is I want to swap roadster rails onto a classic.
A mate gave me his roaster rails (after fitting forward controls) minus the brake peddle & master cylinder.
Can I bolt on the classic master cylinder on the roaster rail & obviously make another brake line??
Am yet to buy a roadster brake peddle too.

You have the ideal Classic brake lines which are a tad longer and in demand by those doing the more common swap and fitting Classic footboards to their Roadsters.
It shouldn't be hard to find a swap and they are common as muck on eBay too just be sure you get one that matches the fittings. Some just extend the stock hard metal Roadster line with rubber brake line to fit the Classic footboards brake system so you may be able to get by just gently putting extra curves in your hard Classic metal and soft rubber brake line to fit the Roadster foot controls.

Fowlers Triumph in UK is a good info source, but as can be found for many shared parts types between various Rocket III versions the Triumph factory only used a GENERIC image for parts that may not accurately illustrate the specific part but the part number and description will.
BUT using 'Triumph' together with the correct part number and / or description you can search 'Google images' and usually find a photo of the actual part too.

Basically all I need to know if the classic master cylinder bolts onto the roadster foot rail...I know part numbers are different & I cant remember if the spacing is the same on the bolt on points.
I'd rather wait till I got the extra bits than pull things off & have down time on the bike....although I have 2 others to ride.

No the Classic and roadster master cylinders are not interchangeable The brake pedal set up is different as well.
