Is there a way to adjust the foot brake and bring it up a bit?

right now my brake sits kinda like this:

_ _

and I would like for it to be a bit more like this

_ /

hope that makes sense..

as I sit on the bike, Im kinda stretched out and comfy legs stretched a bit forward..

but my foot brake seems to be setting almost horizontal, or kinda level maybe slightly above horizontal..

so when I have to apply the foot brake, I am kida pressing more downward on the footbrake...kinda awkward.. for a cruiser

On my honda the foot brake sat at a bit of a higher angle, so as I was stretched out.. I would be pushing more forward on the foot pedal instead of downward?

Ok, so maybe I exaggerated a bit.. its not horizontal.. but I would like to angle it up a bit more?

What foot brake? Oh, that pedal thing on the right that does nothing but make the bike go squirrely? I try to never touch the **** thing.

From under the rail...

Undo locknut "B" with 12mm OE spanner.

Turn "A" with 10mm OE spanner & notice foot lever moving.

Tighten locknut "B".

Gracias RocketSteve

MSF Course teaches to use both foot & handbrake for proper brakeing...

Besides, until I get my idle issue resolved, I depend on my footbrake more than I like, only because I gotta keep feathering the darn throttle with the palm of my hand while trying to brake..

I almost got the combination right?

My guess is MSF course was written before the Rocket 3 was produced, then because the rear brake is worthless unless you enjoy drawing "S"s in the street.

Bloody hell Jimmy your packing some kit  with a list of extras like that I'd have thought you'd fit air brakes

I've turned my 66% front/33% back braking around since going DARK as the car tyre can cope well with the demands made by throttle & brakes & only have 1 set of pads to replace on the rear - another bonus

It's good to have all the "bits" adjusted for comfortable & immediate use - not so knackering & painful if riding any distance.
