I just went out to put my 3R away, and the fob was red when I pushed the button. It took Several times......
I had to hold the button down for a few seconds to get it to turn green.
I know the fob battery is probably over a year old.
Maybe I should change the battery?

My last ride on Saturday is the first time since I bought the bike fob worked correctly everytime. Sevice mngr. Took it apart and did something to correrect. Fingers crossed!

Did. That was not the problem. Fixed now.

What did you or the dealer do to fix? Mine just started to not recognize the fob. Change the fob battery, still no go. Now have to use the spare key over the sensor spot as the fob does not fit over the sensor because of the luggage rack.
Dealer said they "flashed" software. Said not a software update.
Tell your dealer that. Mine totally fixed.

I keep my fob in a small pack attached to the rear pillion strap.
