+1 on that. I have a habit of getting to the end of a thread & then going down (NO, Not like that!) to the bottom of the page & looking at the "similar threads". Then I'll check those out not paying attention to the dates. But still good info for us rookies

Yes Ive got stock Roadster shocks and they are fine for my style of plodding along riding
I had an issue with the shock eye on the Gazi.... through my own fault but I got it sorted and ran them for awhile longer but decided to swap out for the stock chrome look
 
oh and here I was thinking you might have gone Hi-Tech with some Ohlin's or Wilbers
