Good for you Bertrand :), I think us new R3 owners are going to put some serious miles on our new bikes this year. Sorry... kilometres
I think your right there Steve, now I know we have a tunnel joining UK & France & France has that fantastically long bridge who's name I can't remember but surely they can't build a bridge to British bloody Columbia. Although to meet albertaduke it would be worth the money, I suppose he could fly there!:notworthy:
I'm in France in July on tour of Normandy, put some miles on it Bertrand & come see us. I would have put that in French-but I can't, Bertrand & Albertaduke are showing me up.:(

in 2010 I flew my R3 from calgary to frankfurt and stayed all summer in the alps starting at the german R3 meet in bad bruckenau so all of you euro captains can do it as well starting from Frankfurt into western canada say vancouver or calgary what says you!!

Would that be with http://www.bikerbattlefieldtours.com/page2.html I think the owner rides an R3R. I quite fancied doing one of those

No Steve in this case it's just a short organised tour of Normandy but it will take in some of the beaches & other points of interest, but they will be en route & not the destinations. They do however do a slightly longer tour of the WW2 sites.

I did a day trip to Le Touquet a few years ago, the whole channel coast is still littered with gun emplacements etc... amazing really
