It was a good day in Michigan as we finally got some rain to help wash the salt and dirt off the roads. You know what that means....the first decent day, the Rocket is heading out on the road for a little test drive.

All of my winter modifications are just about done. I just ordered a 17 1/2" tall Clearview Windscreen with a recurve at the top for my Corbin Fairing. Hopefully, this will put an end to some of the buffing I get from the the 14" Cee Bailey I bought. I discovered the 14" screen just isn't tall enough because the fairing and windshield sweep back at such an extreme angle. Love the looks, hate the pocket! You just can't get behind it without a taller screen. If this does the trick, I'll be good to go. If not, I'll be back to the regular windshield which seems to work quite well since I bought a taller screen for that as well. I just don't know how some of you get away buying some of the stuff I have seen you purchased for your bikes....I think the wife is planning on smothering me in my sleep to stop my spending. She should know by now that I go through this with every bike I have ever bought. Oh well......

Watch out for those pot-holes. Some of the roads around me are brutal. The state spent millions of dollars here for snow removal not leaving much in the way of road repairs. I've gone on a few servalance trips in my truck checking out the roads i ride, not good..!

I am officially unliking the previous post coz' the roads around here are beat to shyte, too, Rick! Gonna' have to do a lot of reconnoitering and careful riding as the season gets underway in the next week or so (hopefully).

I hear ya brother! First thing my buddy said to me when I walked into work this afternoon..... "It rained!". Being that I just bought mine, I couldn't resist taking her out for a few hundred miles last week. I feel a little guilty.
