Finally got it home

2007 Rocket 3 Classic
Finally the weather was almost descent enough here in the interior of BC to ride my new (to me) Triumph home. I was asked to post a few pics so here they are. The 2 hour ride was good up until the last 15 minutes when the monsoon opened up and needless to say everything and everyone got soaked. Got to clean my baby now. Btw, any suggestions on what to use to shine it up again like it was when I picked it up?
 
Thanks for the compliments on the bike. I think the trunk is a little big. The previous own has put it on a hinged base system or else the saddle bags won't open as the trunk would be in the way. So, the trunk actually hinges back, kind of a cool system, thank god I didn't have to come up with it. I have already picked up an original back rest and sissy bar. I think I will just have the trunk on for longer trips.
 
Wow that is a great find. Would like to see the hinge setup. Some folks are just so creative and can envision simplicity. I tend to complicate the obvious.
