Bear took his bike to town to wash it at the car wash day before yesterday. He was hearing a noise so he checked it when he got home. Something about his brakes. I forget exactly now. So was on phone with dealer yesterday and order new stuff. Supposed to be here Monday so he can get that fixed before we leave.

Here's the latest.
As y'all know I've been waiting on a TPS.
It got here and I "thought" I was gonna be in business Tomorrow.
Apparently Triumph realizes there is a problem with the TPS's.
They've recalled all dealer stock and are shooting out the new improved models.
So the reason I'm posting this here, is because its relevant to my MV trip.
While y'all are doing switchbacks and having a blast,
(And drinking my shine), I'm gonna be at the dealers getting the first new TPS
to hit American soil.
Small consolation prize I know, but it should solve the problems with the idle at least.
Rainman, just leave that quart at home, and I'll pick it up next May, if not before.
Everybody else,,,,, ride safe y'all.
Wish I could be there.
Take LOTS of pictures...

I'd almost ride the harley to get to see y'all.
But that wouldn't be no fun, I'd have to ride in the back then.
I mean, I like tail gunner position, just because of the view,
and making sure everyone else is safe.
But thats different than having to ride in the back.

Fall - Rocket Launch

By this time next week we will have visited wheels through time, put some faces with handles, and partied like rock stars on thursday. We would be on our way to hotsprings nc , riding the rattler, taking 25 to the blueridge parkway in ashville. stopping at sights like looking glass rock, devils corthouse, graveyard fields, second falls, highest point on the BRP, and waterrock knob. After all that we will be returning to maggie valley, By this time my wife would have taken about 300 pictures for the dvd. We will meet up with the rest of the group that is arriving on friday, for a cookout, movies, bonfire and yes to party once again. we should be able to polish off skips shine this night. and that just the first days activities. The holiday is full but overflow accomidiations have been made directly across the street. So if you are still interested in attending it is not to late.

Extended weather forecast on accuweather.com has improved the weather.com forecast still shows a little rain. Based on my knowledge of the area if we do experience rain it goes away as fast as it comes so don't let the weather discourage you from attending. Don't be left saying I wished or I should have attended.

it also looks like the low temp may not be that low as earlier forecasts predicted, its finally looking good but with a good 5 days till then and a good 5 days after we get up there this is looking to be a great ride

when does your tbs get to your dealer? if they get it on wendsday maybe you can push them to get on earlier than saterday if you dont make it we all will drink one for you
