Fall '09- Rocket launch - Maggie Valley

Steve (and all the rest o' y'all),

I'll be travelling on my own from Phoenix. No one else wanted to do the miles with me. So change my confirmed reservation to "1".

I'm going ballistic on the 20th and ride an IBA Bun Burner Gold (1500mi in 24hours) to Jackson, TN. Then on Tuesday, I'll roll into Charlotte to spend two days with my Aunt.

I only bore you all with the details in case anyone wants to watch the ride in realtime. I carry a Spot Messenger that updates my site every 10 minutes with my location:

Thursday, I'll be stopping in at the Asheville Triumph dealer for a rear tire change at 10am and then it's on to Maggie Valley.

Pencil me in for the Wheels Through Time Museum tour Thursday night. And I'm in for all three days of riding (the "long" versions of course).

Well closer it gets the more start bailing out. Oh Well! I did the same on prior event...

I had to go to corporate office this morning for training on product we sell. On way back was talking to Bear via cell and he said Little Rock has bad flash flooding problem going on. I think we were going through that are. Hope it clears out in time for our ride through there. Or may have to re-route.

And Rainman if you make it rain, it just means Bear and I will be entertaining ourselves for the day.

I bought my Rocket end of April and have 10K on it already.
