I originally posted this on the RAA III thread because I thought that thread was a listing of Rocket rides across the country. After taking the time to read that thread, I removed my post from there so as not to appear to be a hijacker.
Anyway here is a brief summary, anyone interested in details can PM me.
July 7-8 Appalacian twisties.
Riders from UK, Long Island, PA, rendevous and head south.
Rendevous with riders from NC & FL
July 9 Interstate day--Iron Butt ride (over 1000 miles)
goal is to do it all in daylight
July 10 Interstate day--complete Butt Burner 1500
ending in OK where we rendevous with OK riders
July 11 Twisties
including the Devil's Hwy
July 12 Sat night Rocket Party in Sedona
Rendevous with Phoenix and Tucson area riders for the scenic ride thru Jerome
July 13-16 Californy here we come
Rendevous with west coasters and riders that have flown and either shipped their bikes or are renting.
Malibu-Monterey-Yosemite areas
July 17-19 Lake Tahoe Rocket Salvo
Rendevous with riders from all over.
over 50 Rockets so far, rides, fun, Sat night dinner and Party
July 20-22 Northern CA twisties loop
with a big group from the Salvo coming along
July 23-27 The core F-A-S-T group splits & heads to and thru UT's canyonlands
July 28 Final twisties of this trip take us to Colorado Springs
July 29-30 Interstate east and home
Maybe meet some KC riders on the way through Kansas City.
