It would be helpful is someone would post a very basic explanation of what to download and how to open this software.

The explanation in the other thread assumes that the person reading it has some experience with computers. I dont.

My computer tells me that windows cant read the tune library. I have a modified tune from Wayne that I cant open, extract or whatever you do. It wants me to allow it to search the internet for software.
What the hell?
I thought one of the drivers did that kind of thing.

Cant get NET framework 2.0 to install either.

Yea it says not compatible.
I was trying to do this on my Dell with XP.
I thought that Wayne had my laptop set up for it but I cant open the map on it either.

From what I see on the tuneecu site you only need framework 2 for windows xp.... I have windows 7 and am running framework 3.5.1
you can check yours... start.....control panel.... programs... under programs and features choose turn windows features on or off.... look in the list box once it populates...

Uninstalled the Framework 2.0
and tried to install it again. It said that its not able to install because of a previously installed one. WTF???? I uninstalled the old one.


The video and PDF did not explain how to extract the new map and install it into a file or how to add it to a file in TuneECU library. Hell I cant even view any maps.

I still have and cant remove NET Framework 2.0 service pack 2, NET Framework 3.0 service pack 2 and NET Framework 3.5 SP1.
I have no idea what the hell these are or what they do. It will not let me remove them so what next????????????????
