I have tightened the muffler clamps on my new Vandemon exhaust a few times since installing it. They do not provide any instructions whatsoever and have not yet responded to my email asking this. I'm talking about the 2 clamps securing the pipe assembly to each muffler. The system is made out of titanium and the clamps are likely steel. What torque value should I be aiming for?
"Goudentite" Seriously, I remember trying to use the torque spec on my Roadster and ended up breaking the bolt. This may be one of those rare cases where I'd go by feel. I'd recommend using some exhaust gasket seal though.
That's kinda what I figured maybe putting a nut on the backside would help, seems like they loosen up a bit when riding. I put a new gasket and flange on the headers but am not using any sealer elsewhere unless I have to take it apart again.

You don't want to go more than 2 ugga duggas over that because that could be the equivalent of 1 Oof-****k. You'll find an Oof-****k is the same in metric and imperial
