Engine rattle/piston slap query

Rocket 3 GT 2020
The Rocket is 7 months and 13,000klm old. When cold, at 1800 revs there is a loud rattle noise. It appears to stop at 2000 revs and appears to go away when hot. The dealer is yet to investigate ( 4 weeks booking time).
Question - has anyone else experienced this symptom?
 
Both my Rockets have made the same noises since new. I think it is cam chain / tensioner related. 128000k on the 05 and 48000k on the 14 touring. So have learned to live with it.
 
My 2006 has/had that too. Back when we were all paranoid about the cam chain rattle syndrome.

Triumph Factory Rep insisted it was oil pump cavitation until the engine warmed up.
 
i would guess valve/cam clearance a little to loose
my 07 did that at 6000 miles eventually it stopped. as time goes on the valves loses clearance.
piston slap gets worse rthe hotter it gets
 
I have this same problem , the dealership seems to clueless
