engine missing!!

recently my bike has started missing when on the throttle! starts around 4500rpm, will miss then clearup then start again! anyone have any experience with this? 2008 standard rocket, cutout bearclaw, K&Ns, Jardine exhaust, Tuneboy!

Classic symptom of a bad primary TPS.
 
well i think obama is worst than taking a swig of cold milk after eating oreos and finding its soured ... but i digress
bad plug wire, loose wiring harness to coil wire, bad coil or tps

Well,
I ain't racist, but I'll offer up my opinion anyway if thats ok.
Mine cut out at speed about a year ago, one of the coil wires had worked itself loose.
When my TPS went out a couple of weeks ago she'd idle up to about 3000-3200 RPM's,
then if I jiggled the tps wires it'd drop back to 800 and the engine light would go off again.
At least most of the time.
 
Ditto on TPS. Just replaced mine and solved the same problems listed above. I was having miss firing at hiway speeds and no idle reset. Experiencing the same 2100 idle. Replacement of the TPS fixed everything. I don't understand how a bad TPS can cause it to miss at road speed but it clearly does.

As far as Nomobama, not much we can do for 3.5 more years. BUT, I am confident we are going to clean out both houses of congress in November. The attendance of the 9 12 Projects this weekend was incredible. We had 10 to 20 thousand attend Ft Worth today even with pouring rain. I hear there were hundreds of thousands in DC. Same huge attendance all across America. USA!
