Engine management light

Replaced the battery,because of a breakdown, now I got the engine management light on.
Any ideas guys & girls??

As above, it should go out after a few on/off cycles. However, there is software that you can use to diagnose faults, reset codes, change settings, repair things that threw the codes, etc called TuneECU.

brw, if you get a chance, drop into the Meet the Members and say g'day. There is a ton of info on this site that will help you with just about anything.

disconnect battery for about half an hour and reconnect it should clear the light otherwise as Ian (idk67) suggested get TuneECU cable (about $20 links in TuneECU sub forum) free software and follow instruction in the printable download manual for soft ware it is not hard

you should at least verify that the charging system is working.. i have let my batt run down several times and never had the check light come on.
its always good to know why the light is on.
we don't know where you are from but here in Arizona autozone will read codes for free. you would have to remove the left side panel to see it. if you have a touring you might not want to do this because of the grommets on the cover.
