gonna share an engine build from cases being prepped to hopefully a successful launch. Step 1. Deck surfaces, 15 thou on head, block flat surface. Install all new bearings on this build as this motor is gonna live in widowmaker, i hope. Lets build one.

Oh the one i just blew up. That will be coming back to the shop soon for a big bore job ( big bore chevy) thats probaly a good name for the drag only build, BIG BORE. Thats all the teasing on that for now, keep an eye out for BIG BORE (108.1) thread coming soon.

So you took 15 thou off the head, is that what it took to get a flat surface or are you going for more compression?
How much adjustment is there in the cam chain tensioner to make up for the cams being 15 thousandths closer to the crankshaft?

I already have a million questions about the Big Block!
Will you be using big block chevy sleeves? Are there off the shelf pistons and rods for this engine or will they have to be custom made? Will it be 2600cc?
I gotta know!

15 thou is what it took, it was done to another head Rob built for me, it probably does raise compression ratio but by little for little effect, going for flat, chain tensioner does its job here all okay. we will use darton sleeves, pistons and rings will be custom, rods same length unless we stroke it too. Oh my. lets not get ahead of ourselves head is being modeled and case gonna get big sleeves and dry decked, not gonna leave any room for coolant, gonna be just like a top fueler, start up, burn out, run run, shut down, 3-5 minutes, total, .6 run, atleast thats how im dreaming it

Ahh so rumours you were seen hanging around this shop and are going to try sparks this time were unfounded?
But I see you're a stubborn one.. ....just water free for now!
Here is your chance to grab an opportunity and go oil free too?

Does anyone remember when Paul Sr. built an electric powered bike several years ago?
