After installing LED rear turn signals ( http://www.r3owners.net/custom-mods/6653-only-97-miles-mods-have-started.html ) my turn signal flash rate was super fast. Being a cheap sob I didn't fell like buying a Load Equalizer. I went to the parts store and purchased a electronic variable load three prong flasher relay part number EL13 made by Tridon Stant for $10.19. The wiring layout for the three prongs is different from the original 3 prong flasher relay. The original has 49=12v power input, 49A=12v power output to signals, and 31=ground. The EL13 relay has X=12v power input, L=12v power output to signals, P=12v power output to the signal instrument light. With that said, I did not use P. To make things a little more complicated three pins in the plug need to be switched. I moved the black ground wire to the empty spot in the plug (not used with new flasher, I didn't want to cut it off), the connector in the plug that has two wires going to a single connector is the 12v input power, move this to where the ground used to be, and move the last wire to where the 12v output to flasher used to be. I know that sounds confusing.
New configuration of plug after moving pins below...

l empty l ground
_ 12v output to signals

l 12v output to signals l empty
