Elec fault on instrument cluster

I have had the same fault now on two occasions about 12 months apart.Manifests in warning lights staying on falsely & loss of speedo & oddometer. On both occasions the fault was found to be corrosion of a pin in a line connector due to water ingress,cleaning & waterproofing works but I need to find a way of preventing it from happening again, anyone else having this problem & has anybody got ideas how I can waterproof the connectors????????????????? I guess a regular spray of ACF50 or WD40 is all I can do unless you know better.

At the airline we use Super Corr A for problems involving corrosion in electrical connectors.

Super CORR A - Corrosion Prevention Compound and Lubricant For Military Applications

 

[Triple Trouble]

Stuff the connectors full of dielectric grease and the water can't get in. Dielectric grease is non conductive and waterproof and available at most auto parts stores such as NAPA etc.
Just spotted you're in UK so maybe Halford's?
