ECTA Arkansas mile spring 24

I think the 130/70/17 with the 200/55/16 will give me best stability at high speeds. I do not plan on moving forks up in triple tree as I believe this would lend to unstable at speeds over 100 or approaching 100. @SpazOnaR3 any tips on this you could share with a rookie
My best tip, dont get killed  :D:D
This is the best advice, haha.

If you are going to lower the bike, just try to keep it even/flat.... if you lower the front, lower the back the same (or vice versa). Next best advice I can give ya is to take your time... you'll get more than one run. Set control goals, hit them in steps (if the ECTA doesn't have a licensing regiment like the SCTA does, anyway.... they make you do control "license" passes in 25mph brackets). Be smooth on the brakes, and don't push a pass that feels like something is bad mechanically. I like to have a 'run plan' in my head and try to stick to it. Which part of the runway, shift points, body position. I go through a checklist as I'm making the pass, and makes things less stressful. :) Change little at first & get consistent with your runs, then try to make one change at a time, whether that's in your machine set-up or personal technique.

...and if you are doing a full mile, don't rush it too much. I've seen a lot of people try to just blaze the start like a drag race in half mile stuff. This usually ends poorly. Take off nice and easy, get your body position sorted out and then give it hell. You can make all the mistakes you want in the first 50 feet and it doesn't make a **** bit of difference. You make mistakes at the top of 1st or 2nd gear and you're eating up distance rapidly.... it doesn't matter how quickly you get to the traps, just how fast you're going when you get there. :)

I hope the Widowmaker is on one of theyre cards one day, spiderman and widowmaker side by side.

Rode out to Konrads today, 80 miles, the zr tires and the classic 17in front rim felt great, pingel kill switch, heal tech shift light installed and working properly. The America wind screen worked good, gonna loose the mirrors, saddlebags and saddlebag frames, install belly pan and we will be hitting bowling green drag strip 1/4mi in the next couple weeks to do a little more testing. So far so good, the 130 out front feels awesome in the curves. Getting close to seeing if a touring can get in the record books. Fuel and re tune coming up. Were both pretty excited about this years racing opportunities, gonna spend the next couple months at test and tune on tuesday evenings practicing launch. The Lush racing widowmaker is in a good place.

Wow looking great and your the INNOVATOR now with that Classic 17" front on a R3T besides that Triumph America Quick Release Summer screen that clips straight on/off just like your original big screen did.

If that is a 130 17 how does it compare overall diameter wise to stock 16". 130 is a big change from the stock 150 usually fitted to the 17" rim.

Tacoma is a good place to check for car and motorcycle tires wheel combos.

4.8% is a big difference from stock which increases steering response a lot and risk of grinding parts that may also cause a crash by taking loads of tires when cornering

Well done you clever innovator! When compared to the stock R3T 150/80-16 though, they are a close diameter match with benefits of narrower and better speed ratings.
