OK . . all back together and still making squealing noise. I took the windshield off and was able to narrow it down to left side of the bike . . sounds like down near output but not making that kind of noise . . people have told me that when the output shaft bearing goes it is VERY noisy . . Its not like that. Sooooo . .

What would be on that side that would squeal under load? Bearing? U joint?

'squeal' would indicate a bearing . Guessing you have been greasing final drive ? Although when mine went I didn't hear a squeal .

I have greased the splines on final drive, checked wheel bearings. There was some scoring on the final drive but on the kush side where it mates up with the wheel. That whole piece seemed a bit loose but it doesnt spin independently so I really dont think that could be it. From the diagram, it looks like there are two bearings on the driveshaft. One on each end. I guess I will be tearing into that to see what is there. Really, the only thing ON that side is the driveshaft . .

I happens only when you accelerate, right? May be it is the sound of methane gas escaping. I know I tend to "squench-up" under acceleration.

Yep, that is a good thought. I actually pried apart the brakes so they werent touching the disc and tried it . . . still squeal. I took it to the dealer today to see if their mechs could figure it out. D and D are pretty good in that dept.
