Donated the gift of life today ... Man it was hard.

So sorry for you and your families loss. My prayers go out to you and your family. My niece Jane recently lost her husband Dennis to a heart attack. He too was a donor and the thought that his passing helped so many others helped ease the pain somewhat.
 
Bill I haven't the words my friend, my thoughts and prayers to each and everyone of you. Family had to make similar choices with our 10 year old Grandson a few years ago. Waiting almost 24 hours for a recipient match was the most heart wrenching experience of my life. Try and find some peace and solitude in knowing that the untimely passing of your loved one shall breath new life to someone in need. Once again heartfelt thoughts and prayers.

A sad and but inspiring story Bill ,your Brother in Law sounds like he gave more than his share in life to help others and due to his gift in his passing will continue to give , My condolences to you and your Wife and Family
who will need your love and support to cope with the loss of an obviously great Husband , Son , Brother in Law ,and Mate.

Prayers go out to you and your family. I cannot imagine the pain of the decision you all have had to make.
 
My brother used to fly the donor jet so i know how desperately people need organs. So sorry for you loss ,what an unselfish thing to do. RIP Bill
