every R3 pop on deceleration ,if running the OEM fuel map it is a lean fuel/air ratio problem enrich the mixture any way you can and presto no more popping
Yes using a Tuneboy. It requires increasing the fuel tables on L1, L2, and L3 for the first 6% of throttle. There's a thread on the forum by Pig9R that explains how to do it. (Just recall you increase table values with the up and down arrow).
Well now, on THAT subject... I fixed mine with exhaust sealer putty around the slip connections prior to clamping it down. I'm in a minority group where the theory is fresh air sucked into the exhaust causes it to ignite and extra fuel just makes a bigger pop. But the extra fuel fixes it too, so whatever works is a win.
