Dash board out of order or ?

My dashboard has started acting up...
Day 1: The steering lock is no longer working.
Day 2: The turn signals are no longer working.
Day 3: I can't access the "map" menu or change the mileage data...and the engine start is random !

Any ideas?

Start with the battery health and connections. It needs to have tight cables and be fully charged. Our electronics are very picky.

The battery is new and I left it charging all night...but I'll still check it with the charger plugged in, you never know!

steering lock is not dashboard, its the security key sensor, probably your security sensor at the front is loose or something
blinker not working - yes could be dashboard but steering lock must work regardless or dashboard


what did you do last to the bike? any mods, anything you touched?

What did I do? I changed the oil a month ago...
Perhaps our English friends have linked the oil change to a dashboard warning light...those English guys are fecund!

lol,
try reseating the dash instrument connector, check the fuse of dash instrument cluster, reseat that as well

Already done. I'm going to the dealership on Thursday for a thorough investigation of the problem...
