Dash Display weirdness

Out for a ride and on my way home. Looked down, and my display was all squished to the top (or so it seemed). Had not hit a major bump, it wasn't extremely hot or cold out.
The bike was running fine so I finished the ride like that. I didn't want to turn it off in case it wouldn't start again.
Got home, shut the bike down, fired it back up, and the display was fine.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen this problem.

Way back in my youth.....I had a TV that did that....Sorry, I can't help....I only have gen 1 bikes

Look at the right photo. The screen is black except for a wide horizontal white line at the top and two narrow ones in the middle. Squished! (compressed, mushed, etc)
