I forgot to mention Lithium Batteries are more sensitive to cold weather so it is good idea to keep it on a tender in the winter months

I don't have a Rocket 3, but my last few bikes have had sealed batteries, I've ridden a lot of miles in Spanish and Portuguese heat, and I've never had any batteries drying.
