I have a 2011 R3T with stock exhaust. Love the bike but not the sound. I want a deep rumble, not a turbo-whine, but don't have a grand to spend for it and not a fan of TORS. I'm interested in D&D exhaust. The sound clip on youtube is worthless. Please share your impressions of D&D and any sound clips of it. Thanks.

Not the best sound, by any means. Reasonable if you have a really good dynoed tune, ( it improves it a lot) but the DD is a cheap system; & whilst good bang for your buck, better to save up & go better, IMO. 2nd hand Jars might be a much better buy( you get balanced headers & LOTS more power in the bargain)

If by a deep rumble you're referring to a Harley sound, you won't get it from an inline triple. I had a set of D&D's, they are louder than stock, very similar to TORS. Jardines are much louder. Problem being on a bike with a windshield like the R3T that loudness can become very tiring on long rides.

You can get the D&D's or TORS to make it a bit louder than stock or you can get the Jardines, change the intake and tune for more performance and put up with the noise.

Maybe it's just me or maybe my TORS is different but it is very loud on acceleration. It sounds as loud in acceleration as my last three HD with the Screaming Eagle off road pipes. Now on idle is a different story as the TORS are quite. I like loud but not obnoxious and TORS hits the mark.

I have 2 Rockets. One with TORs and one with D&D. The consensus in my circle is they both sound good. but the D&D sound is preferred.
