cut out problem

got a friend that lives in FL and his brother called and wanted to know if we have had a problem with our r3t cutting out out bout 55 mph in first gear he use to be a bmw rider till a couple months ago

No offense to your freind but at 55mph the engine rpm's are SCREAMING!!!!!
And if he doesnt know to shift before then.....he really should consider a basic motorcycle safety course.
