See your point, I have seen the 2 styles you have in your pics. previously. Although the one's in my pic. have different upper mounts plus 2 halves interconnect above the engine. Wondering if anyone seen those before?
The two pictured in my previous post are both Triumph genuine accessories.

These are the one's I'm talking about BTW.

Jabol, The bars you have pictured are made by Rivco. I have them on my Rocket. Very good bars. No longer made though.

If'n I 'member, the Rivco were 1" diameter bars as opposed to 1.25" diameter of the Triumph bars.
They were considered good bars and discontinued by Rivco in the summer of 2112.

Glad to hear as I just bought them yesterday on the bay, wasn't sure but took a chance as they went for cheap. Some scuffs on bottom but going to powder coat them black anyhow.

If they are the original weak ones and you are going to power coat them May I suggest having a piece of angle steel be welded to the weak point. That's what I'm going to do when I get to it on my priory list.

Apparently the ones I purchased are Rivco brand which look pretty solid, I'll install them and see how rigid those are. Good idea BTW

What did you end up paying for the Rivco's ? They are very good bars. They even help stiffen the frame some. I have them on mine. I'll give you a hint. I had trouble with mine rattling where they come together. My solution was to wrap the male side with single layer of electrical tape. Wind it around but don't let it overlap itself. I also found an o-ring that just fit over the male side so the two halves weren't metal to metal. No more worries !

How did you find out that they were discontinued then, Ideehoe? Have you gone back to the future again or just a little flare-up of the ol' dementia?
