I don't know when Rivco discontiued them. I just know they did. They are great bars and I get a lot of complements from other Rocket owners who wish they had Rivco bars. They like the smaller 1" tubing and the profile lines better. No rattle with mine.

What did you end up paying for the Rivco's ? They are very good bars. They even help stiffen the frame some. I have them on mine. I'll give you a hint. I had trouble with mine rattling where they come together. My solution was to wrap the male side with single layer of electrical tape. Wind it around but don't let it overlap itself. I also found an o-ring that just fit over the male side so the two halves weren't metal to metal. No more worries !
Paid $91 shipped, should have them next week Wednesday then I'll have my buddy blast them and powdercoat them, thicker layer of powdercoat might take care of the rattle, if not I'll try your trick with tape and o-ring:thumbsup:
I'm surprised that there isn't a hole drilled through both halves so it can be clamped together after installation unless there's no room to get your hands in there, haven't looked yet.

How did you find out that they were discontinued then, Ideehoe? Have you gone back to the future again or just a little flare-up of the ol' dementia?

Just a flare up of the typing finger.

No argument here, Bill.
I had initially ordered a set of the Rivco bars right after getting my Roadster.
After a week wait they contacted me about the discontinuance.

Here you go , new guy: Link Removed Dunno' if these German fellas are still in business, but they sure make (or made) nice stuff. At well more than double the price of Triumph's front and rear guards, I'd go with Triumph's kit, as suggested.

These are the 2" stainless bars with chin piece, good quality stuff.
