"Crash" bar to radiator comparison.

Simple question I think. Is the distance and angle from the crash bar to the radiator the same on TR3 and TR3 Touring? Ive a 2012 Touring and made a simple heat shield and want to make a few for regular Rocket owners as well...
 
Are you trying to ask if the crash bars are interchangeable between the models including the Touring?
If so I don't know but assume they might be interchangeable.....

No, trying to see if same shield would work on either bike...
 
This was early roughest version....mounts to crash bar and one radiator trim screw...but you get the idea...
 
Q- what are you trying to shield from heat?
Just trying to understand what purpose this serves

Ha! my right leg and face! that fan blows a ton of heat out...most anytime temp is above 90. i live in fresno and ride cross country.. the last 25k has been a lot more comfortable.

Do you have the roadster or touring?
 
Aren't you risking overheating by doing that?
