Check the owner's manual for type. It'll tell you specifically what spec is required. If it meets the requirements, go for it.

Once again the manual leaves me in the dark. You got me curious so I looked it up in both the owners manual and service binder. The official word out of the book says "Mobil Antifreeze", boy they sure are specific aren't they?
I know this will sound stupid but back in the old country, (the farm) we used to tell what kind of antifreeze a vehicle had by smell and taste. If the coolant (used and in the vehicle) smelled like a wet dog, it was that new fangled 100,000 mile stuff. If it tasted sweet, it was ethylene glycol (regular stuff). That probably didn't help at all, but now you know where I'm from, how old I am and why I'm so f'd up. LOL
Is it really Blue? I never noticed ... I'll have to check that out when I have the claw off this weekend.
If anyone finds out for sure what's in there, I hope they post it. I'd rather not get caught trying the taste and sniff method of chemical analysis, I'm too old to be seen with a bendy straw in my radiator.

Blue? Must be mixin the yellow and green stuff.

Mix with distilled water only.

I had the orange stuff replaced in one of my cagers. The green mechanic did a piss poor job of flushing it. The combination of new preferred coolant and the old orange stuff first clogged up a mechanism, i don't recall the part nomenclature at this time, but the cost of replacing it was huge. Later when it was realized that the heater wasnt putting out, the entire system had to be flushed again to rid the heater core of the plug. Im told the combination of the orange crap and my preferred ethylene glycol causes something of a jello mass to form. After the shop owner properly flushed the entire system and reinstalled fresh preffered ethylene glycol all has been cherry.

I use ethlene glycol in my Rocket along with Redline Water Wetter. Ive long called it Proline but it is Redline instead.
