Coolant Choices

Plus you don’t have to pay Triumph dealership prices! My local one, Lings ain’t cheap!!

price i didnt bother looking at triumphs price but i bet it will be more than double what i paid , also triumph dont make coolant , so whos to say my alternative brand is not triumphs rebadged , and spec if its the same spec its the same , same with engine oil. in my honest opinion.
 
Same can be said about a lot of Triumphs spares, bearings and seals for a start. If you get the number off the bearing or seal (not Triumphs part number) any decent Engineering store will be able to get an off the shelf part and probably at a third of Triumphs prices.
I’ve not done it yet, but in conversation with Carl at Just Rockets, the only seal you’d need to get from Triumph is the outer cover O ring for the water pump. The bearings are available off the shelf.
 
The HD4X, as described in my 2023 owners manual, is now obsolete, and you can find it on ebay or the like only. It is green in color and should not be mixed with the new orange OAT. I wish they would correct the manuals bc even the online one per VIN # still shows HD4X.
