Do you have OIL TEMP as an option? - Seems it may not be an ODB thing. Coolant yes - oil no.
Guys in the UK - You could contact Jon at Digital Speedos - Motorcycle & car parts, digital gauges - But I know that KOSO 48mm gauges will fit really easily using the KOSO DASH MOUNT part.
They're stainless and 100% bike/water proof.
eg KOSO UK, 48mm, Blue iridium motorcycle temperature gauge, waterproof - Jon knows how to mount on an R3.
