Good stuff and welcome from a fellow 2013 R3T owner! $7500??? wow! I gave 18K for mine when I bought it new!

Going on 4 years and 40,000 miles on mine and I still chuckle like a kid that has gotten away with something every time I throttle her up!

Find the sticky thread "R3T derestricting" Download tuneecu(free) get a cable (24 bux) and load the tune from the thread. You got no idea what is hiding under the surface if yours has a stock tune in it.

If I remember correctly you get about 30HP for less than a buck a pony.

The next 30 get pricy though.

AND if you want the MAX HORSEPOWER a CARPENTER EX SYSTEM AND FREE FLOWING INTAKE and a retune will give you 70 + Horsepower and you have power to SPANK all those big baggers that cost $ 50,000 LOL I love it

Baby steps... this beast has torque to spare already. The salesman said the bike already has a tune in it. I am not sure how he knows this, but is there a way for me to validate this assertion? I think the first mod for me will be either an audio add on, or a tach/speed/gear indicator. Been snooping around the accessories threads, and there seems to be plenty of options out there.

Tune ECU will show you which tune you've got the first time you save it.
