All this pry hole stuff has/had me all confused. When I put mine back together, only problem I had was lining up the 6 stubs into the 6 holes. Everything slid into place. Been working like a champ ever since. Maybe I did something wrong, but it works. Never understood this talk of preload, etc. etc.:confused::confused::confused:

see if this is clear enough if not I will pull the clutch I have apart and get a better shot. all it is a pry hole :)
I have pried and pried. It is aligned with the nubs in the back. But will not completely mesh with the crank gear. I put the tool thru the hole and turned it, but they still don't align. Also I installed a carpenter clutch not the other company. Do I still need to delete the shudder spring and washer? Thanks in advance I am so close to finishing.
