Looked at the manual... ... ... ... it says to pull out the rear tire spindle enough to get rear caliper support loose. It then says to clear the disk enough to access the brake pads, ensuring the anti-rattle clips are in correctly.
However, I didn't loosen the spindle or the caliper support, and instead carefully removed the little clips(2) and pulled out the brake pad pin. Then carefully removed old brake pads from caliper. Then carefully installed new pads and replaced pin and popped the two clips back in. Took 5 minutes.
Anyone have any problems doing it the way I did??? Saved at least an hour by not following the manual.
Please report!
