Hello,
The R3GT comes with a canbus-system. But I think that mine doesn't work because I can't charge (optimate 4 charger) my battery with it and when I put something in it (Optimate O-115) there's no power coming out.

Does anyone have/had the same problem?

As far as I am aware, the best way to connect a device such as an Optimate charger is directly onto the battery terminals.
That way, the charger can accurately access how much charge to put into the battery without other systems on the bike fooling it.

I have the same issue connecting my C-TEK tender to my car. It can't just connect to any live feed in the system.

It can be plugged into the 12V accessory plug(option) wiring on the left side or at the front cowl to that 12v plug.

The front DIN is only hot-on-run. You need either the optional side DIN port, or an SAE cable connected to the battery.
