Brought a gun to a knife fight...

Welcome from yet ANOTHER of the Aussies. What a surprisingly beautiful city, last I heard it had filed for bankruptcy and could only afford to maintain less than a 1/3 of its ambulances http://www.bondbankruptcyreport.com/2013/detroit-a-city-in-crisis/, just goes to show how our view of the world can be adversley influenced by the (negative) media. Sorry can't really help with your questions as my bike is still pretty stock but I know you'll get a lot of friendly help from this forum.

Thanks EVERYONE! Right..."The Cable"! Where do I get the magic cable?! I know I can download the tune but I only have Apple computers. Will have to borrow a Windows machine.
in this thread there are links http://www.r3owners.net/threads/tuneecu-how-to.7671/unread
Thanks HansO. Where did you get that cool jacket?!
it is actually a Triumph dealer shirt with the extra bits under the "Triumph Motorcycles" embroidered on which is a slightly modified from one of the other members t shirts of a while back

Oh and that is a awesome picture, do you do a lot of Photography
Yes. I am a professional pilot but I travel the world doing photography when not traveling the world flying. Often do both together. Here's a link: craigkerrphotography.com.

TRYING to get my head around TuneECM. I see you have posted a LOT about that so won't start firing questions until I have read/understood. I am ordering the cable. I am downloading the software. I will read what to do then do it. I will advise of massive successes or failures.

G'Day everyone Down Under. No. You read it right. Not JUST in bankruptcy...the largest municipal bankruptcy in US history. $18 Billion. Corrupt and racist mayors and city council members for nearly 4 decades. Is all turning around now with new major. Former mayor serving 18 years in prison. The city is broke. Well...not broke. If it had $18 Billion it would be broke. It's in debt. We're working on it....

GYOW - Welcome to the Forum from Sunny South Florida (though lately here, not so much) I can see you're already obeying the Forum preferences by posting several pictures, Our motto: "If there's no pictures - it didn't happen". I don't know how old you are or how long you've been in DET or how much of it's history you know, but I had relatives in Detroit for decades. They owned the Krim theater chain. Haven't been there since 1968.

Welcome from Germany (by way of Mississippi)! Glad to hear there are positive shifts in the once proud city.
If you haven't already ordered your cable, there are several outlet recommendations on the tuneecu website. I went with lonelec; great customer service. Enjoy the new gun...and remember it's definitely loaded!!
