The plastic is now precisely laser cut and is just slightly wider at the top for better protection. A nice smooth edge. I found some brass insert that I put in where the set screws are located. (Not sure you did those on yours) The aluminum rod can be locked down tightly now if someone didn't want to have the deflectors rest against the mirror posts like I intended. It would also make them more universal for other bike mounting.
