I know the place you are talking about. One of my buddies got out and lived there with his wife who was in the coast guard. A lot of oil rig stuff down there if I remember correctly. Stay out of hand cuffs man! I remember partying down there once with some locals. The nicest people you could ever meet. They will feed you, put a drink in your hand and introduce you to their daughter. You had better treat her right though. There is a lot of places to lose a body in the swamp. I respect that kind of honesty. We can use more of it.
YOU know I never had a thought of using a cruise control on my bikes and I never use it traveling in my cars so I have to laugh when I see all the fuss being made over a cruise control
After playing Army, jumping out of planes and power lifting I find everything hurts. I'll be 45 this year. I find I have a lot of the same aches as men 20 years my senior or more.
Isn't that the truth norm!! My everything aches like im 60, and I'm only 36... Thankfully the Rocket fits me like a glove in stock form, aside from the bars which were an easy fix. Iv actually found it got a little confier now that I'm right around the 200lb mark, up from around d 165 when I bought it.
The only that aches after a full day now is my neck, spinal stenosis, nothing fixes it so I just cope.
With the Harley it was nice because I could set it and relax meaning I didn't have to worry about speeding tickets. Now I have quadruple the torque and speed. I really need to pay attention until I can get the cruise on there.

Had that stenosis $hit as well.
Football, Army, MC racing . . .
A laminectomy of S1 through L5 ten years ago did wonders for me.
NOT perfect, but a huge improvement.

you old folks should try working (don't call it roughnecking for the fun of it) on one of these drilling rigs for the last 35 years now at 58+ years old still can out work most half my age any more than a hour ride home in the truck when I get out feel all stoved up

I've learned a thing about being tough and hard core... It hurts. My dad always told me I'd pay for the things I was doing to my body later. He was right.
