A pal has just fitted some Brembo ceramic pads and claims they are brilliant. I did a bit of researching in forums and was getting mixed messages about ceramic pads. In the end I concluded that most people were guessing (about wear/dust/stopping power/long life etc). So I went on Brembos site and they are indeed recommending their carbon ceramics for the Rocket 3.
I always end up with squealing brakes so I think I might get some of these. What do others think about the idea?

i dont know about the older models but my roadster had hh nissins up front and gg brembos on the rear from factory. i thought they were good pads. on goldfrens at the mo, they're adequate, but putting on full set of EBCs shortly to see how they fair out. will go back to brembo and nissin then to give a real good review of pad comparison.
anyways you cant go wrong with brembo besides emptying your wallet, chances are the EBCs are as good though.

Got mine from Trirocket3.
He was very generous with his time and effort in this regard.
His post hints that he may still play middleman.

These 6 pots are amazing.
I have Galfer Wave Rotors and dual brake lines as well, but stock rotors work ok.

You have to lengthen the brake lines and that's why I went with dual lines, no splitter required.

The calipers come with spacing washers and instructions.
You stack some or all of the washers on the mounting bolts to center the calipers on the rotors.

Excellent mod, big increase in braking power and better feel,
worth every penny :)
