Not in my apartment dwelling situation. To take the wheel off, one needs a stand. To have a huge stand to use it once in two years, perhaps.. Ah.

These stands are really good, small enough to stash in an apartment and can hold the bike upright

I've got one of those stands too, it works ok actually. I had the rocket up on it the other day, checking for rear wheel removal actually, and it's really quite stable. I had it at the rear of the engine & had the rear wheel off the ground easy with the front still just touching. Put a 24mm socket on the nut & use an impact driver to wind it up & down (slowly) Make sure you grease all the threads & pivot points first though to help reduce galling. As a added precaution you can always run a strap from the top yolk to a stud overhead as a backstop to stop it toppling over should you be a bit over vigorous with the wheel nuts.

I need to change the brake pads, but I cannot decide if sintered or carbon-ceramic. I need to do it urgently (before authorized service will do it for 300 euro)!

Solved, bought TRW sintered, both pairs to front for less than 60 eur, hehe. Sometimes is good to be ex-employee of automotive parts distributor
I could also change the rear, but it looks that rear wheel must go down. Next time. I thought also about Brembo, but available was only LE version (low end?), not SR or SE and at least double price.

And because I love my Rocket I've decided to go for the Brembo OEM pads.
