Bought a Pair of These Today

on the subject of gloves does anybody knows of REAL waterproof rain gloves ? short of bread bags I still cannot find truly waterproof gloves and I do not believe gore tex is great I have spent too much on them and they still leak at the seams..
anyone with the magic answer.. same story for overboots

I bought a pair of Alpinestar gore tex gloves which are water proof. I tried to get my hand wet by running water over them in the sink. I stood there for the longest and my hand never got wet. The gloves go up above the wrist. I guess they could get wear and tear on them and they will leak. They come with a warranty that if they start leaking they will fix or give you another pair BUT you have to send them the gloves first. Anyways I like them very much. $178 pair of gloves however.

These are the gloves. They have went up I see. These are Triumph gloves made by Alpinestar. They have good protection as well as most don't.... they just keep the water out. They are breathable so sweat will not set in.

Triumph Alpinestars AS2 GoreTex Glove

yeah me too, but if you are really serious some of the our USA mates will act as reciever/sender for you if you ask real nice:)
I do have Question for Jess thou is the heat adjustable and how long do the batteries last:confused: not much info on the site ..you did say they are waterproof did you not it's just that they don't say much

Water proof gloves, ski gloves are pretty amazing at keeping your hands dry. Warm too, and they don't cost you an arm and a leg to buy either. I think I got mine at Costco for 20 bucks and when we pulled out of the garage in pouring rain on the way to Daytona this year my hands stayed nice and dry.

They are lined with Thinsulate and I road 240 miles on one set of batteries I still have the same batteries laying here just measured the voltage 1.435 considering they are rated at 1.5 , I would say they would work for a long trip and they heat the top of your hand that is what I really liked about them, there are made like a ski glove :D Now if you all can't find somebody who sells them over there and you all would like to get a order together, I'll be more than happy to order them and ship them to one of you like skip did the buckles. The gloves run a little snug. They are just on or off no adjustments.
