There is a very inexpensive DIY paddock stand for lifting your bike in my signature link.

I use a "Handy" lift for stuff I need 'handy'...............

Eazyrizer now have a dedicated big blue lifting kit for the 2.5 rockets. Got mine yesterday £395 in the uk with £30 delivery.
Really strong bit of kit and lifts the bike about two feet clear of the ground.

Your bike looks beautiful floating in the air like that.
A great piece of equipment.

I was lucky enough to get one used for my 2008 from a member here.
Was close enough to meet half way to do the deal. Shipping would have been horrendous.
I welded my own bracket and bought a big drill to pump it up.
Pretty scary the first time you get it 2 feet up!

This is awsome!

What base did you select? Does it work with the lifting fork for the old R3?

Don’t know about the old R3 but they did do a kit for that model.
I bought my lift with the newly designed kit for the 2.5 R3.
The only thing that worried me was that there is no way of securing the bike to the lift, so I lash it down with a webbing stap around the front pegs.
