Bike Down, need to choose next bike

which windshield is that?

This last Roadster was my fifth Triumph, had loads of Japanese bikes (mostly years ago) never went Harley or Indian. I'm after more of what I had so I think the GT needs a trial
The R version would be closer to the Roadster. Some get the GT and move the pegs back (or visa versa), but then the handlebars and seat are different too. I like the upright position and have added the backrest, sporty windshield, and heated grips. I'd suggest picking your riding position first and then make any changes from there.

Oh, if we also talk about alternatives: more bike for the money than with a BMW r18 in all its version is actually not possible. I love my B...
I was eyeballing the R18, then i researched the maintenence schedules, the 6000 mile valve check schedule is a little too annoying for my taste.

I am with you - but keep in mind: checking valves on a flat twin is as easy as measuring the tire pressure.
Do not compare this with a Rocket - down with the heads, measuring, done. Adjustment is mostly unnecessary...

I'm interested in knowing what that screen is too. Are there any markings on it at all ? How well does it provide a pocket of still air.
It's very quiet and calm behind it. I kept it on there because it works well and looks better than a billboard screen. The guy I bought the bike from said it used the OEM mounts. He wasn't home when I picked up the bike (his wife completed the transaction), so I didn't get the OEM flyscreen, Here's another view of it:
