Is anyone out there using 2 extra baffles with the Jardine Rumblers? I started to install them last night and couldnt readily see where they would equally disperse sound. The left muffler seems easy enough, but the right muffler piece has some curved pipe I would have to thread the baffle through, dont know if it would make the turn. Anyone else have this problem?

I have a pair of them installed in my R3T. They install in the headpipe, in front of the mufflers. Since mine is an R3T I only have the two mufflers to deal with so I can't speak to the three muffler setup.

The work as advertised, producing a lower somewhat quieter tone.

The baffles install in the headpipe. Remove the mufflers. The pipe that the mufflers clamp onto is the headpipe. You drill a hole and install the baffle just inside of that pipe on each side.

Just as I thought, baffle doesnt fit

What am I not seeing? I didnt think this baffle would make this turn and sure enough it doesnt. The left side went on like OJ's gloves. So what am I doing wrong? If I cant thread this through to near the last hose clamp then the mufflers will have uneven sound. Any ideas?

Just curious SC, why don't you put it in front of the right muffler can after the Y just like the left side? or does the right side muffler not come off the Y pipe?

Oh and just a observation the baffle looks so small and restriciting I wonder why even go to the Jardines? unless you just want two pipes? Not trying to upset you as I am sure the bugger is doing that already.

now i have a question

ok new r3touring 6100 miles on it been reading forums daily since joining, heres a couple of my questions, going to the darkside in another 3 to 4 thousand miles, (probably early may) 205/60/16 general altimax, probably change exhaust at some point ..... she too queit miss the rumble, thinking D and D's slip ons? but does that mean i need to get a power comander ? and someone said something about taking out the secoundaries , efi has secoundaries????? I love the rocket and she a monster to me just being stock especially being that I'm coming off a vtx1800. how much hp increase? do I need baffles? I ride 365 a year work 3rd shift.... no problem with the ignition switch yet???? ect... ect.. ect..... Ill keep reading and asking dumb question I just wanted to let everybody know I appreciate the information and stories i get in the r3 community:D:):D:confused::D

yea, I got one, you could do what I did.
I didn't put mine there,
I put mine in the exhaust end of the pipe.
straight up the tailpipe like an enema.
the "cone part" in first.
Just like the instructions say to do.
Drilled a hole where it'd be hidden by the heat shield.
easy, simple, and semi-permanent,
I could take them out if I wanted to,
without disassembling the whole exhaust...

T you could just have the Dealer Load the aftermarket tune in and be done with it. the most Horse power I have seen with a stock Toruing and just a complete exhaust change has been 165 hp. considering that the HP it is pretty low in stock condition I would hold onto you hat if you going that route :D

Glad to read that, I am about to order a set, I was put off by suddenly hearing I would have to remove mufflers to put on and off...
